I’m a senior at TWHS. I started tutoring classmates in 2024, mostly for the SAT, and it grew from there through referrals and word of mouth. These days I work with students from any school around The Woodlands.

I scored a 1550 on the SAT, and most of my sessions are SAT Math. I also tutor AP Physics 1, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science A, and high school math.

My longest-running student has been with me for about two years. I speak English and Spanish, so sessions can be in either.

Why “Highlander to Highlander”?

Because it started as one Highlander helping others: students tutoring students. It’s my own independent business, not something run by the school, and you don’t need to go to TWHS to work with me.

Why a student tutor?

  1. I took these classes recently.

    Same courses, same kinds of tests. I remember which parts tripped me up and what finally made them click.

  2. It’s easier to ask a peer.

    Nobody is grading you. Ask the question you didn’t want to ask in class, as many times as you need.

  3. I know the SAT as it is now.

    Including the built-in Desmos calculator, which is where a lot of my Math tips come from.
